Frequently asked questions

Will the filming become intrusive?
No, we are very discreet and have developed a style of filming that enables us to become almost unnoticed by the Bride, Groom and guests. This enables us to capture the magical, fleeting moments, as well as every important event during your special day. Bride and Groom’s tell us that they were surprised at the detail contained in the finished film and how much of the day they had already forgotten!

Will digital equipment be used?
Yes, we use professional High Definition 1080i cameras and edit digitally to ensure no loss of quality throughout the whole production. We also pay great attention to sound recording and use radio mics during the ceremony and the speeches.

Will the editing make a difference?
Our style of editing will greatly enhance the finished video. This is the key to giving the raw footage a more emotional, enriched feel. We always endeavour to produce a film which is both stylish and entertaining. Music of your choice is added at suitable sections to further enrich the experience.

When will we receive the finished video?
The editing process is very time consuming and it depends on the time of year. Our busiest time is between May and September. At this time, we endeavour to deliver your videos within 2-3 weeks.

What music do you use?You can choose tracks from your favourite albums. The cost of PPl and MCPS music dubbing licenses are included in our package prices.

How far in advance should we book your services?
We are frequently booked over a year in advance, so please check for our availability by phoning Freefone 0800 6335784 as soon as possible. The videographer should ideally be booked around the same time as the photographer and cars etc. Please note that a booking is not confirmed until we receive your deposit of £100 and signed contract. A letter of confirmation and a copy of the contract will then be sent to you.

Do you set shots up?
No. We use a documentary style of filming and record events as they happen. We try to work closely with the photographer who will set up the shots. We only ask that you spend 10 – 15 minutes with our videographer after the photo session to record a sequence for the highlight section.

How many cameras do you use? We use two cameras during the course of the day. (Providing permission is granted and there is space in the marriage venue) Camera two will be setup on a stand whilst camera one will be mobile.

What areas do you cover?
We travel anywhere on the English mainland. There are no additional charges; the package price we quote you is the price that you pay.

Do your DVDs have chapters and scene selection?

Yes. All or DVDs are authored and include chapters and thumbnailed scene buttons and are supplied to you in photo cases.
